IK Level test (Impact Protection) or IK Rating defines degrees of protection provided by enclosures
for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts in accordance with IEC 62262, IEC
60598 and IEC 60068. IK ratings are defined as IKXX, where “XX” may be a number from 00 to 10
indicating the degree of protection. IK00 Not protected
